I had never used an agent to sell a house (I did it myself for my other 3 houses) and was very pleased with the help Kathy provided. I did not realize all the work that was required by an agent. Kathy knew the marketplace, responded instantly to all calls, handled open houses professionally and worked with me to get to a selling price that was fair for both parties. Even though the marketplace was weak, Kathy got a price that was fair. She even helped arrange to have me rent back my home to enable me to stay there until my new home was built. Overall, it was great working with her (and her partner Rhonda) and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to either buy or sell a home.

When it was confirmed in mid July that we had to move from New Jersey to California before August 14, 2017, we were faced with a lot of big decisions. One was which realtor to hire to sell our house. Through a friend’s recommendation, we hired Kathleen Goodwine of Gloria Nilson & Co Real Estate on July 28, 2017, just 13 days before we had to fly out to California. This was our first home, and therefore our first time selling as well. Kathy was spirited, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, supportive and patient throughout the entire process. We trusted her and knew our home was in good hands. She made it so much easier for us in making decisions, by keeping us informed, checking up and following up on things, as well as doing some leg work for us since we were no longer in NJ to do them. Whenever we hit a slight obstacle, she was always available to talk to us, keep us in the loop, and always remained optimistic. When our house was listed on August 18, 2017, we received an offer after 8 days, and our home closed on October 12, 2017, very close to our listing price. A transcontinental move was no easy feat, and we could not have done this without Kathy or any other realtor in fact. She made the process so much easier with her guidance, recommendations and energetic personality.
